Felipe da Silva
Kids Instructor
Felipe got into jiu-jitsu back in 2012. He started his training at Gracie Barra João Pessoa with Professor Lúcio Charles Brown, and he snagged his blue belt after making a name for himself in several championships. Felipe became a champ several times in the IBJJF OPEN, the Paraíba Championship, and the North-Northeast Region in both white and blue belt categories.
Then, in 2017, Felipe made a big move to the USA. Over here, he continued his jiu jitsu journey under the guidance of Professor Suyan Queiroz, eventually earning his purple, brown, and black belts. As he worked his way up the colored belts.
Professor Felipe scooped up numerous medals in World Master Championships, Pan American Championships, IBJJF OPEN, and local tournaments. Beyond his jiu jitsu skills, Felipe is known for his strong moral compass and his dedication to kids and newcomers, influenced by his role as a father.
Our Kids Instructor is a Black Belt, with an impressive background in Jiu Jitsu.
